A REALTOR® is a member of the National Association of REALTORS® and subscribes to its strict Code of Ethics.

Code of Ethics

The Code establishes time-honored and baseline principles that come from the collective experiences of REALTORS® since the Code of Ethics was first established in 1913. Those principles can be loosely defined as:

Loyalty to clients;

Fiduciary (legal) duty to clients;

Cooperation with competitors;

Truthfulness in statements and advertising; and non-interference in exclusive relationships that other REALTORS® have with their clients.

Designations

To earn a designation, a REALTOR® a real estate agent has taken coursework and demonstrated specific skills, performance and knowledge in a particular area of the real estate industry

Lydia Craft's Professional and Personal Life

Lydia Craft entered into the real estate industry in January of 1992 with Roberts Brothers, Inc. Where she remained for 10 years with a one year sabbatical and opened up a brokerage firm for Brewer Homes. In 1999 Lydia opened an office for Roberts Brothers in Orange Beach and in 2002 came back to Mobile and managed RE/MAX Partners. She and her partners, Bob Craft and Micah Wright purchased the RE/MAX Partners franchise in May of 2004 along with moving into their newly built office at 7221 Grelot Rd.
In 2012, for personal reasons, Lydia moved her license to RE/MAX Realty Centre where she remains today.

Lydia has been involved with several industry and community programs including Mobile Singing Children, Mobile Historic Development Commission, Sertoma Board of Directors, Alabama Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, and Home Builders Association Board of Directors, Women's Council of Realtors, and a Mardi Gras Society. Currently Lydia is a volunteer at Oakleigh Historic Complex and a member of Mobile Historic Preservation Society.

Lydia's philanthropic organizations include Children's Miracle Network, and USA Cancer Research Institute. Her children and grandchildren are the loves of her life and she enjoys cooking, gardening, reading, and home decorating.
